BOARD MEMBERS

Christopher Sarofim
Christopher Sarofim is the Chairman of Fayez Sarofim & Co., President of Sarofim International Management Company and a Director of The Sarofim Group. With an AB in History from Princeton University, he sits on the boards of Wood Partners, Sable Offshore Corp., Highland Resources, Inc. and the George R. Brown Partnership. Christopher is a member of the Board of Trustees for the Brown Foundation, Inc., Baylor College of Medicine and on the Advisory Committee of MD Anderson Cancer Center Board of Visitors.

William Gentry Lee, Jr.
Gentry Lee is the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer of Fayez Sarofim & Co., a director of The Sarofim Group and a member of the Company’s Executive and Investment committees. He holds an MBA with High Distinction from Harvard Business School and a BA with High Honors in Economics from Vanderbilt University. In addition to Sarofim Foundation, he is currently on the boards of Wood Partners and of St. John’s School.

Raye White
One of its founding members and a Chartered Investment Counselor, Mrs. Raye White is the Executive Vice President and Compliance Officer of Fayez Sarofim & Co. In addition to her Sarofim Foundation Board responsibilities, she is a Lifetime Director for University of St. Thomas and of Christus Health. 

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Ryan Dolibois
Ryan Dolibois serves as the Foundation’s inaugural Executive Director, where he provides overall leadership for the team and works closely with the Board of Directors to fulfill their strategic vision for the Foundation. Ryan is a nonprofit leader with more than 25 years of experience in executive management, fundraising, strategic planning, and teaching in Houston. Prior to joining the Foundation, he served as the Executive Director of Yellowstone Schools. He came to Houston in 1998 as a Teach for America corps member and has held previous leadership roles at Episcopal High School and YES Prep Public Schools. He holds a BA from the College of William and Mary and an MEd from National Louis University.

Managing Director of Programs

Roula Zoghbi Smith
As the Managing Director of Programs, Roula ensures grantmaking accomplishes the strategic vision of the Board through the oversight of teams, systems, policies, and practices. Roula joins the Foundation after serving as a Vice President at Texas Children’s Hospital, where she worked for more than 14 years. During her tenure, Roula served in executive positions with Surgical Services and the Heart Center, business operations for the Urgent Care clinics, and led a team of project managers in its system-wide business planning office. Prior to TCH, she worked for Baylor College of Medicine and earned her graduate degree from UT Health School of Public Health. A Houston native, Roula is a graduate of St. John’s School and Middlebury College.

Managing Director of Finance

Jaideep Hebbar
As the Managing Director of Finance, Jaideep leads the day-to-day activities of the Foundation’s overall finance function, including grant administration, reporting/forecasting, budget management, advisor relations, and related functions. Jaideep comes to the Foundation with over 20 years of experience as a private equity investor, foundation staff member, and non-profit leader. A graduate of the Wharton School and Penn Engineering, Jaideep spent over a decade with Merrill Lynch before pivoting to executive leadership roles in the nonprofit sector. He served as a program officer for a national education foundation (the Charter School Growth Fund), and then became the Chief Strategy and Financial Officer (CSFO) for KIPP Texas. Prior to joining the Foundation, he served as the CSFO for the United Way of Greater Houston.

Operations Manager

Krystle Allen
As the Operations Manager, Krystle works closely with Foundation team members to manage daily office functions, oversee Foundation project management and related activities, and help guide and cultivate the Foundation’s culture. Krystle has served in variety of roles related to teaching, HR services, operational support, and project management. A Teach for America corps member, she began her career as a teacher with Houston ISD and later served as the Director of Strategy and Operations for Relay Graduate School of Education. Prior to joining the Foundation, Krystle served as the Program Director for Scoot Education.

Executive Assistant

Vanessa Mose
Vanessa Mose serves as the Executive Assistant for the Foundation’s leadership team. In this capacity she supports the team with meeting management, event coordination, internal/external communication, and related activities. Vanessa joins the Foundation following a 17-year career at Texas Children’s Hospital where, most recently, she supported senior leaders within the organization’s Heart Center and Department of Surgery.
